Mississippi drivers will get back more than $60 million from car insurance companies due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The insurance companies filed requests with the Mississippi Insurance Department.Mississippi Insurance Commissioner Mike Chaney said he was happy to approve the reductions in premiums.“Many people are not driving as much right now because of shelter-in-place, emergency declarations and working from home.
