Following Johann Zarco’s stunning pole position for the Czech Republic Grand Prix, the entire MotoGP grid has been shaken up. Here’s how and when you can watch the race.

Zarco, competing on a year-old Ducati, shocked the paddock to charge to pole position at Brno beating the Petronas SRT Yamaha duo of Fabio Quartararo and Franco Morbidelli who had topped the practice sessions coming into this weekend.

Meanwhile, qualifying turned into a nightmare for factory Ducati’s Andrea Dovizioso as he endured his worst qualifying performance of his MotoGP career down in 18th place, while Pramac Ducati’s Jack Miller fared little better on the GP20 in 14th place.

At the sharp end, Zarco’s ex-KTM team-mate Pol Espargaro was left “pissed off” when he was denied second place in qualifying after losing a laptime due to a yellow flag in Q2. The Spanish rider has confirmed he will appeal the decision in

DTM cars broke the 300km/h barrier for the first time in the series’ history in last weekend’s season opener at Spa.

WRT Audi rookie Fabio Scherer was the first driver to touch the magic mark in Sunday’s second race, hitting 300km/h (or 186mph) on lap 22 of 26, before improving to 302km/h (188mph) on the final tour.

BMW drivers Jonathan Aberdein and Philipp Eng also achieved the same feat in the closing stages of the race, with Eng recording speeds in excess of 300km/h on three different occasions.

PLUS: Does 2000 hold the answers to DTM’s current crisis?

“I didn’t recognise it at the time but I was informed after the race by my engineer,” said Aberdein.

“It was at the end of the Kemmel straight – it was DRS, push-to-pass and also I think two cars in front, so a massive tow, which helped a lot.”

Eng added: “The

Used car values up for the first time since 2009

dul sanchez

Average used car sale values increased in July at the three-year and 60,000-mile point – the first upward movement in the month since 2009 and followed an even stronger June.

Strong demand and a shortage of supply helped to drive the 0.4% increase, according to data experts at Cap HPI.

Average values at the one-year point stayed level and vehicles younger than this dropped very slightly. At all other ages, there has been a small, positive movement.

Cap HPI says there remains some pent-up demand in the market, with consumers wary of public transport keeping demand healthy.

Derren Martin, head of valuations UK at Cap HPI, explained: “We have witnessed a relatively dramatic increase during June, then a stabilisation in July and it would appear that values have peaked but are remaining at or around that level for now. As always, there are winners and losers within these averages.”
